I'm a newb when it comes to vid cards and capablities of them so please bear with me...

Okay, I've download the game and realllly want to play, but when I do... I get this error:

"reclusive error after: Error during initialization
Make sure you have and OpenGL capable video card and lastest drivers are installed."

Now, I need to know if I can fix it without

1) Cutting comp, and reinserting new vid card.
2) Spending money.

Please help me!!!!

Make sure you have the latest drives, and a good video card.

How old is this computer, and have you ever replaced any parts?

But I need a little more help. When I go to muliplayer and click update. I get an "pantball2 has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart program. An error log has been created.

Try deleting paintball2/pball/serverlist.dat.  This will be fixed in the next release.

Does build 13 still run?  Perhaps some other things changed between the last use of 13 and the installation of 14?

That's odd.  I'm not sure what would cause build 14 not to work like that.  Are you using the latest drivers off of ati.com?  You might also try using the omega drivers.

Does anybody else have a Radeon9000?

That is odd.  I really don't know what would cause build 14 not to work when build 13 does work.  I'm pretty sure I didn't change any of the code where it loads the OpenGL driver.  Nobody else has a radeon9000?

Edit: I started a thread up at Rage3D.  Perhaps we can get some other testers or suggestions: http://rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?p=1333667165
