Author Topic: I knew things would start to go wrong once jitspoe left (Read 5807 times)

He said he would be gone for about 10 days, believe what you want, but I think he won't be back.

Anyway, I really miss build 18, it had great ping, and so did build 16. I now have build 19 and the ping I've been having really sucks. Most of the time, I'm lucky if it is under 500, but usually it between 900-2100, pretty bad huh? I'm always lagging, and for the 5 seconds that I'm not, it shows me moving with the controls I entered like 5 minutes ago. The ping I've been having is so bad I can hardly play if that, usually I'm lucky if I can even enter a server. Now, I can't, all of the servers are dark colored (like the ones that are inactice) and the ping says 999 and that's all of them. I can't connect to them usually, and if I can, I'd better have patience, becasue it will take quite a while to enter them.

One thing I noticed, was that when I didn't have ping issues, it would log me in in the blink of an eye, and now that I am having issues, it takes like 8 seconds for it to autologin, and when it does that, I know for certain that I won't be able to play because of my connection. And no, I don't run other programs while playing dp, sometime Spider-Man Solitaire, but that is inactive and will never slow down my computer. And no, I don't have dail-up, I have wireless and a computer that isn't real great, but should suffice as far as playing dp with no lag.

Any help? I can't play at all. Thanks in advance?

You've been here for a month?
Not the first time Jitspoe leaves for some time.

As for your problem, you could have changed some setting on the config, try reinstalling or going to default settings.

playe3r1, I don't think ping above 999 is shown. Also, to make your text colored, highlight it THEN select the color.
Maybe try updating your serverlist?

I guess compalining about something is the best way to make it correct itself. Now that I started a whole topic about this, my ping has been perfectly fine. Sorry aobut this.

Lol 999 ping highest I've ever had was on an asian server closed down ages ago my ping was 280 there normal ping for me is less then 100 max now is 180 in like Podkar pacie or somethin like that Cobo is probably right not even brazilians in european severs get that bad ping.

Actually, it's that once you reach 70 posts something unlocks on the GBL servers that makes your ping better.

It's just a coincidence.
