Question on Global Gamers' auto log-in

Our IRC server software supports a great feature called Login on Connect. This allows you to connect and login to your NickServ account right away. Nobody will see your real host (not even when they have you on notify), and you won't have to login anymore once connected. To use Login on Connect, connect to our servers with a password. This password should be:

  /youraccountname/yourpassword

mIRC users familiar with the /server command can use this syntax:

  /server irc.globalgamerscenter.net 6667 /youraccountname/yourpassword
Of course, with your accountname and your password. Please note that you should also have the host *@* added to your account, else it can not log you in using Logon on connect. Once you do all that, it should work.

My question is what does this phrase mean?

When you're auth'd type:
Code: [Select]
/msg NickServ ADDMASK *@*
