In Training [InT] --- Recruiting

We are looking for members who want to get involved in the DP match scene.  We are willing to match anyone with the goal of learning in the process, though we realize we are not now at the level of the top clans. This is not like the other training clans as there is no sponsoring parent organization, nor do we claim any expertise. It is just a chance to match and have fun.

We are primarily an American clan, with most members on in the afternoon and evening. Please take this into account.

Requirements

- You must have an understanding of basic DP skills (aim, jumping, etc.) A try-out will in most cases  be necessary.

- You must have a mic and be willing to download Ventrilo for voice communication while playing DP.

So far I have been doing at least two scrims every night, 2v2 and 3v3. So it is working just fine for what I want to do.

So far the idea is working great. Though we are trying to recruit some players who are interested in the same ideas and want to enjoy themselves.

Protexe i hope your times work out so that you can join us in the future and if something changes perhaps we can be of use to you then. Good luck.

PS: We are not strictly turning down players if you are worried about not making it apply anyways. Worse case scenario you learn something about the game in the process.

Around what time are you guys usually playing? I live in Minnesota (central time). I'll be interested if the time works out.

Central time? Around 10 pm. But some of us may be on earlier. That is just when Rept and I tend to get on after work, etc.

I know game over is on alot early eastern. And like m7feettall was saying roughly 10-11 est. onward sometimes a lil late.


so basically central 9 or 10 till 2 or so in the morn on average.

Hey Rept, is this clan going to get trained for doing jump maps?

we play paint, jumps involved will be taught. In terms of maps such as dopjump and the likes, these are great training tools. Though we will not be applying them in as part of our training regiment. I do recommend they are atleast attempted on ones own time for practice or enjoyment but this is all.

Though exception will be made to teach someone a jump if a suitable map is unobtainable.

Still getting in lots of scrims.

won two more tonight. Close one with Elite though, they whooped us on shock and had us beat on our own map but we came back in the last 30 seconds and then won the tie-break.
