Okay, this isn't a spoiler, but I'll post the ending if ya'd like. I hate Harry Potter, but my very beautiful girlfriend loves it and since my shift ends at 11, I got to stand in line for an hour making threats to a load of nerds, only to get the book, turn to page 634, and read out the ending.

Oh haha, that guy looked to me like all the other tipsy Harry Potter fans that had just finished going to their pre-launch parties, and were beginning to let the liquor get to them. The guy next to me was serenading a cardboard cut out of Harry Potter

I read it and actually didn't think it was too bad. Only decent ending possible was used.

Funny story: when we were heading home from vacation, waiting at the airport, I decided to get another book to read since I was almost finished with Prey. At the time, most of the stores weren't open, but there was some news stand open that had a few books. Most of them looked pretty bleh, so I figured I'd give Harry Potter a shot - the only one I was somewhat familiar with. Little did I know that it was the release date for the new book, and as a bonus, I got a "free" book bag.

Half the people that saw me with it were like, "OMG! The new Harry Potter book! Did you have to wait in line to get it?"

"Uh, no... I just got it at the store right over there..."

Just finished reading it. The thing was, it was sort of spoiled by the fact I had no clue what the f**k was going in seeing as I didn't read the last 2 books.
