moved serverlist
« on: June 03, 2005, 01:37:43 AM »
Just a quick note to make sure you know:
When the server sends a heartbeat to the gamespy list the console shows a message saying the list has been moved.  If for some reason you haven't heard this, let me know and I'll give you more info about it.
Btw, the heartbeat to the dpball list seems to still post fine.
  Thanks

Yeah, gamespy changed their dynamic servers, it used to be dynamic#.gamespy.com (we were dynamic5), but then they went and made them all dynamic.gamespy.com.  You can fix it by typing "set serverlist1 http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~digitalpaint/serverlist.php" at the server console (I think it was serverlist1, maybe serverlist0).  The default value will be fixed for the next release.  Thanks for reporting it.  This is the reason I set up redundant server lists.

Now the message says "Failed to open severlist.txt", but the ip is listed at that address.

Argh, stupid file permissions keep getting changed.  I'll fix it when I get home.
