98SE.... how many new spy/add ware, viruses, Trojan / Worms  are programmed to attack win 98SE/me within the last 5 years vs XP?

When LongHorn and the SBC/Microsoft - OS/Browser is deployed into sbc "U=verse" I will up grade, But till then. Let the lag crashing stupid ass win98SE/me system do its thing over and over and stupid ass over.

I was told that windows NT 2000 does not hurt, but iv read about .net issues that truly suck.

Untill then i want sympathy

"Doctor, it hurts when I do this..."
"Well, quit doing that!"

And I've never gotten a trojan/worm/virus/spyware/adware on Windows XP -- pretty much the only way you can get those is through user stupidity/ignorance or using internet explorer (which really falls under user stupidity/ignorance in most cases), and there are probably more vulnerabilities in win98 anyway.

A kernel crash simply means that windows 98 sucks.  ;)

But seriously, unless you can find specifically what causes it, it's going to be hard for me to fix it.
