Grenades not Grenade

Is it possible in your realm of thinking to include class slots for grenades.

1. player toggleable one key to toggle type of timer for frag gren

2 the allowence of a very limited amount of grens.


2frag 2 smoke if available on map.

I dunno... grens are pretty powerful.  I don't think it would be good for people to have more than one at a time.  I don't want to make any gameplay changes unless I feel confident that it will improve the game.

Yeah, how would more than one grenade help? It would certainly hurt by allowing players to 'spam' with grenades.

Agreed, I was thinking more for  5v2 6v1 etc scenarios. Two frag grens should not alter the game anyway afterall the grens will be used, there should not be that much difference between my self using it or my neighbor.

lmao  eiio think before your speak : ) "spam with nades" you me the same nades that will be used any how?  I think you meant is

"How can I expect to live when only one person is throwing the same amount of grenades as two or three"

We agree that no matter how many grens a person can hold at one time, for the most part they will be used (by the smarter players) no matter who is holding them.

no a limit of two grens. what about air then or paint what then is it ok to leave temamantes with nuthing, so does that mean your going to take out the extra slots ;)

Iron: I would love to see that, but too far-fetched. I think there should be paint turrets, though.

My take? Uh... pods aren't currently being used, and when you could hold more than 1 co2 canister, newbies would run around and grab all of them leaving other players with nothing, so I changed it so you could only carry one.

    Hoppers are allowed to grab upto 40, 100 or 200 paint balls per hopper.
 
 2frag or 2 Smoke grens per player allowence is comon and is realistic.

This would be a great equalizer for the short handed careful(ff) player. And make players think twice about rushing someone.
   
Can players toss grenades like they can drop canisters of paint?
The time delay should be the same.

Hello not just realistic in that sense, remember q2(non realistic) eiii? A slot for multi grenades.

That's because grenades didn't do all that much. They were for tossing around corners and suprising people, with the occasional offensive use. However, once used, the other person can fight back. In paintball? Grenade kills anyone in it's way. That's one problem with this game... there aren't that many strategic possibilities, apart from where to go.

Grenades were the most effective weapon at close range in q2.

That is assuming your not armed with more than one grenade :) Thus my point of grenades not grenade. It would make the opfor think twice about bumrushing you.
