Cheap reliable marker
« on: September 03, 2007, 10:12:04 AM »
I'm looking for a reliable, upgradeable marker I can use for recreational play. I want to buy it from www.justpaintball.co.uk. Basically my current thoughts are:

http://www.shop.justpaintball.co.uk/acatalog/Tippmann_98_Black_2.html
+
http://www.shop.justpaintball.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_Tippmann_98_Sniper_Barrel.html

It has to be under £180 total... can someone help me pick something that is accurate and reliable? It's a bit of a tight budget but I don't play that much.

Spook

My local paintball park rents out Tippmann 98's and i have to say it was very reliable... although i'm not much of a paintballer anymore, i still like the 98

i had a tippmann pro carbine when i first started out. i loved it. get a nice barrel for it and you have a pretty accurate marker. although its not as fast as an electric marker. good for woodsball.

Sharpie.  Just run over and scribble on people.  They won't be able to wipe.

Get an Ion.  Jigsaw and Skater recommended one to me, and so far I love it.

Wow, only $1.49!

Off topic: y00tz, any "free time" coming up? Or is it college/work 24/7?
