so i hear queenie made a junktastic map called propaintl and just ripped off of my map. doesnt this fall under the copyright laws or something of dp, i want this map deleted forever, its a disgrace to me and maps in general!

pp3 is pretty much done, i handed it over to Clipz to finish it so should prolly talk to him about it

Ya, i DL'ed PPL, it was pretty bad, it used the propaint theme, but was just a disgrace to all the pp maps

Crash - Personally I wouldn't worry about it. Since the map really is junk it wont get server time, if its on any servers as it is.

unfortunately there really isnt anything that can be done about map rip-offs except for server admins not to run it.

i think it should be removed from any server that has it loaded. and burned/deleted/torn up/thrown away/or whatever. it just needs to go. its horrible.

I actually like the map. It's a lot more fun than propaint2 is.

What's wrong with creating a tribute map? Did he try to pass it off as one in the series? No, and the name "legacy" could probably be changed to tribute to avoid confusion but I honestly don't see a problem with releasing a map that is clearly appreciating Crash's mapping ability. The greatest form of flattery...

from what i understand is that queenie asked crash if he could make a new/use the name propaint, and crash said no. and he still went ahead and did it.

Firstly: I would like to point out that in my opinion that most (if not all) of [CC] are jerks. Sorry for the prejudice, but I have come to this conclusion from your actions on IRC.

And yes, this map WAS meant to a tribute map, as I love the propaint maps, and NO it was NOT meant to rip off the propaint series. I merely did not ask Crash because I thought in MY opinion that it was a decent map and that Crash would understand. (also I hardly ever see him anywhere like IRC)

And cola. Jumping to conclusions like that is just stupid and ignorant. Honestly think before you use those fingers of yours to type. I do have feelings.

And now: I will change the name of my "garbage" map to something else. Sorry to everyone, especially Crash.

Any maybe next time guys if someone is in my position try not to get him so mad by telling him/her his map is "junk" and "garbage" repetitively on IRC and the forums and kb'ing / deluser'ing him/her from your channel on IRC. Also, try not to clan-gang up on them.

It just makes you all look worse.

And yes, I'm talking about you CC.
