At school when I used Paintball it neva worked on Global Servers.  They had 2 reset the internet 4 something and now i can see them.  Because i know the people that block stuff and all of that they they told me that they put some blocking system on the servers and it disables network games (Over the Internet).  You should be able to play other people in your school though.

Haha... that's so weird. I think they blocked *.therisenrealm.com altogether, not that The Risen Realm is much of a technical/business forum >_> Why would a school block a technical/business forum anyway?

The same thing happened to me last year. Wanna know what I did? I waited till I got to the airport after the second semester ended to play online.

At our schools, dplogin.com is new enough still that it hasn't been blocked. I downloaded the game last year in school during english class on sourceforge (Mrs. Terry was the greatest teacher in the world! :D) but I couldn't connect to any servers. I did, however have a couple heated matches with a guy in the Science Wing whom I now suspect may have been a science teacher. XD That year was like the greatest.

This year, I'm in a tech club, and sometimes Wyld and I spend our free time making DP maps in school. We can't play them with anyone else at school this year (I can't get anyone to figure out how to download/play the game because we go to school with idiots), but once we get home we can. It's pretty cool.
