Temporary Internet Files
« on: September 13, 2007, 01:07:51 AM »
Alright, I would like to make a new partition on my harddrive for Linux.  I have checked for space but i have only got enough for another version of paintball 2 with 600 maps (700MBish)  I checked all of the folders using Size Manager that comes with powerdesk and it says one of my recyclers has more than 5GB of space in it.  Double CLick it and nothing is in it.  Search for files with "." and it brings up 5000 files.  I cant delete them all.  Have to do it seperately. Any Ideas?

Try searching for *.tmp. That will bring up all the temp files.

Also go to http://www.filehippo.com and download a program called CCleaner. It does a nice job on cleaning up your hard drive.

The problem is that i cant view anything either.  I choose search and did that but it doesn't work.  I know these temp files are from only me but they are really annoying.  I'm downloading that program right now.
