i suppose that's true... it would explain the grenade war map on the OTB server...

And now KoreMagna is going to explain to us why I only see players pinging 150+ on the OTB server when that map is on.
Guys, there are more NA players so there are more good NA players AND there are more noob NA players. simple.

i'm not going to explain anything... i'm just saying the map "Grenade War" only runs on the OTB fast server

I, personally, play on that server because it's a fast server, not because of the map.

That map is fun for the first few times and then it just get boring...

I'm curious - how are you throwing paint grenades so that you're getting hit by them? They should be really easy to dodge considering you control where they go. Yeah, every once in a while you have a teammate jump in front of you as you're throwing, but that's pretty rare and should only be happening on pubs unless your clan is really uncoordinated. Frankly, if you're so bad at throwing grenades that you're hitting yourself, you deserve to be killed by them.

As mentioned before, losing ammo or CO2 for hitting yourself with a grenade just doesn't make sense. Also, you may not be aware of this, but the self kills are only applicable on servers that have impact grenades enabled or if you use primed grenades (+tossgren). If you use the old style timed grenades (luck bombs) on a server that has impact grenades disabled, they don't self-kill (because I had some people whining and crying about how they couldn't use grenades like they used to).

Okay thank you Jitspoe i understand now, and i will try not to use impact grenades then cause I will toss a nade over the barrels on pbcup then when i rush in after it explodes into my pocket and I die.

I don't think there have been that many times where I've killed my self with a nade. I guess I'm just not suicide prone.

The only times I've killed myself with nades are A) playing at 2 in the morning, tired as ****, and B) purposely (like when you're in a small room with like 4 or 5 opponents... etc. etc.)

The only thing that concerns me is people starting to hold onto grenades in matches on purpose. To kill themselves to end the round when they know the other team will cap....

I cannot fathom why nobody else has thought of this....

if the other team has the flag you cannot kill yourself with a nade or by drowning yourself. so that is really of no concern.

Easy fix, just go back to the way it was a few years ago. No primed/impact nades at all. It'll be easy, we can change it and not tell anyone just like when it was put in.

Agreed. This would really show who has the best aim. Nades are fun, but not during a match.
