From what I've read on some different forums, you're pretty much SOL once you get that email.  I tried to appeal it, but it's apparently pretty rare that people ever get to use AdSense again, or even get a response.  It was doing well enough to be worthwhile -- up into the 3 digit range.

oh dear. I can safely say that I thought that that might happen. It's a real shame that people had to do the honourable thing :D oh well. I'm sure there's some other way to raise money through advertising.

I'm mostly disappointed because I wanted to see what the ads in the "bra" thread were.

Just a status update: Still trying to track down the socket binding problem with running servers on vista.  I don't really want to make another release until I get that fixed, but all of my test apps to reproduce the issue have not produced any errors, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to what's causing the problem.

So this is only related to running servers on Vista, not just the client?

"Vista SP1 to hit Windows Update Tuesday"

in the notes from microsoft it says they fixed access to raw sockets or something like that? May be worth testing again once they release it...

Yes, but that could return results like 'mac networking problems don't exist' or 'there are no such things as mac networking problems'
