So I was looking around for a first person shooter game to download and in my search I found a list of free first person shooters on Wikipedia. And then I seen it listed there, Digital Paint: Paintball 2.

Actually, I've seen Paintball noted on quite a lot of things around the 'net (usually involving Quake 2).

I'm not sure who did it but if you click on the Digital Paint: Paintball 2 it has a whole article about the game.

Oy, like half the references were about how the game didn't support Mac OSX and linked back to the forums. The xfire support also linked back to the news. We need external sources. I added a couple such as sourceforge and moddb, as well as making the xfire support reference point to xfire's supported game list. I also deleted all the Mac OS stuff. The game doesn't natively support it. No need to mention what it can't do in the article. We need to get some more solid references that are not affiliated with Digital Paint.

The problem with a cult game like Paintball is that anything "external" is filled with information by... us. I.e. with ModDB, would you fill out information when you registered the mod?

Could we use BYOP? Also, is there any 'free shooter' news pages that we could submit news/press stuff to?

Supposedly all Wikipedia articles require "WP:N".
