Uh, after about a month of not being able to play, I thought I could finally get some Paintball time in, and what happens, but that as soon as I open Paintball, It pops up about 30 Internet Explorer windows? I had just clicked out of the forums and opened the game, and it opened to the thread I was just in. Odd...

Anyone help?

sounds like you've been hijacked by spyware or a virus... i'd check the shortcut target for paintball...

Did it actually load the game first, or just pop up explorer windows? Do you have any custom menus or anything?

It loaded the game first, then popped up the windows. I have no custom menus or anything of the like. It stopped doing it though, so you can all go back to work.

Attach your "profile.txt" menu. Sounds like its telling the game to open up a bunch of stuff.

Maybe it's just from staring at your screen for so long? I can't even concentrate on making a map for more than 5 minutes without getting up to walk around unless I'm doing something I've never used in a map before (like just a few minutes ago, doing my first elevator. I'm such a noob!).

I had the same problem when I got the game about 1 year ago, but I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it has never given me trouble since.

i think it was just my computer acting up. i didnt have to uninstall or anything.

$8000? Man, you could get a computer that runs all of todays games just great for $1000, then get a new one every year for the next 8 years, and that computer you buy for $1000 8 years from now will be way better than the one you paid $8000 for now.

I take my Dell for walks in the park, serenade it while its sleeping with my own lyrics from the heart, take it out to fancy Italian restaurants for Spaghetti Bolagnese and sometimes, if we're lucky, we get to play with each other all night long.
