My server is up and running just fine, I've used the troubleshooter graciously provided by sk89q, and it could connect.
And since I trust XtremeBain, KnacK, Eiii and Sk89q more than I would a router manual, can someone help me figure out why when I heartbeat, the port is 50xxx
My original thought is that in my DSL modem configuration is doing something screwy with the ports.
For example, there is an unchangeable setting of "Start NAPT ports at 50000" and in my rule entries for NAT (port forwarding) rule number 1 is to filter any incoming requests to NAPT... do my other rule entries supersede that if they are more specific (i.e. in this case, filter 27910 udp to this IP..)
Edit: Deleting the original entry renders the internet completely dead. Also, I've followed the port forwarding guides exactly, but feel free to ask questions about obvious stuff I could have missed.
Thanks and Good luck,
y00tz
