Changing Menu Color

How is that possible...I see people making red backrounds for the game...I saw green..and I wanted to know how to make it.

If you mean just the background, thats very simple. Find "backtile.jpg" (might be "backtile_inv.tga") and replace it with another pic. However, if you mean different colored fonts in the menus, be prepared to spend 3-5 hours of editing menu files. But if you vote for this, I'll do it for you. ;)

Yeah...like just the backround...like I saw a dark red theme the other day...and I liked it..just didn't like the font.

EDIT: where is that folder.

This might sound stupid but could you just give me a link to one of the threads...cuz I search HUD modification and I get like 5 threads and I'm not entirely sure what the file would look like.

I thought since it was like with menus...I would have to save it somplace else.

EDIT: hmmmm....I saved it in the same place as the first one and extracted it..and nothing changed.
