Lol Jitspoe, those maps you want removed are some of the most popular maps on the game. I think ice pond should be removed just because its horrible but the others should stay. Those maps are fun to play with a lot of people because theyre nice and small. As for the ones to be added. They should already be on the servers? I think most of them are. Not for sure though.

Well, the probelm is there's only 1 multi-path map in rotation. They're not my servers, no, but whenever I want to play, there's never an enjoyable map on. People always complain that I never play, well, yeah, kinda sucks when I can't even enjoy playing my own game because of the maps. So instead I end up coding or something else. That and I don't have much free time.
At the very least, we need more multi-path maps in rotation. And aren't you guys tired of the same 3 or 4 spray maps over and over?

its your fault for bringing all the newbie germans to the game.. the only map they like is blitz. it's a sad reality. :(

Well, it seems the classic server has a better rotation, but the others with the settings I like have terrible rotations. The classic could do with some more multi-path maps, too, though.
btw, gl_dynamic 0 helps reduce seizures on cosmic3.

Icepond is actually better than all those other 1-path maps he is asking for removal. It offers more options for gameplay than any of the others. But i still think it should be removed along with the others.

Does it matter what servers there are and their rotation...really. I just want to play I don't care what map it is. There are maps I don't like and like, but why dosn't anyone just settle down and play. lol ::)

Yes, it does. If ALL of the maps in rotation are basic 1-path maps and offer no room for flanking, teamwork, and various other strategies, it gets boring pretty quick. Also, the people who like the new style of CTF generally prefer more strategy and teamwork-oriented maps, as opposed to the mindless spray maps, where it's almost pointless to even have flags. It's a bit contradictory to have the new mode combined with 1-path maps where it's not really even applicable, and basically just ensures that nobody will play on the server.

But I bet you would care if you were the only person playing on the server for hours on end, with the occasional person joining by accident.
You can easily say you don't care because the maplist consists primarily of maps an appropriate size for 2v2s that fill the server. Most players on the public scene don't enjoy the slower paced style of large maps. I'm willing to bet that a large majority of players who play the GT Classic 1 server wouldn't play brainstorm on the public server unless they knew pbcup or indune was going to follow it, and they'd have to wait out 5 minutes of hammering to join the server.

You know loial, your little 'principle' "it takes a cheat to know a cheat" would have the consequence that over three quarters of your clan cheats, if not more.

I hate playing all those tight maps with the people who play pub...you come around a corner you meet either spray or impact grens. (Why does every good post that starts ends up in a fight)
