Title: What part of your day do you look forward to....

Everyone has a part in their day they always look forward to most. What's yours?
Mine is when I get to monitor traffic inside the building and get to watch people get hit by turnstiles. :)

I'm the first one up at the house on the weekends so it's nice and quiet except for the critters.

During the week it's the same: I'm usually the first one in the office by about an hour. I can get an incredible amount of work done in that time.

The most fav time though is when MONEY and his sister aren't home so that me and wifey can have some peace and quiet ;D

hopefully its not tooo quiet if you know what i mean ;) pretty sure it wouldnt be peaceful either.

I hadn't really thought much about it before, but the more I think about it, the more I realize I don't really have things I look forward to. I mean, I don't look forward to going to bed because I'm rarely sleepy at night, and I'll just toss and turn for hours before I actually fall asleep. I don't look forward to getting up because I didn't get enough sleep. Even if I did, I still usually feel like staying in bed. While I don't hate my job or anything, I don't exactly look forward to it either. I don't look forward to meals because they're just another chore to me. Gotta eat to survive, but I hate fixing something to eat or having to go somewhere. I guess I do look forward to going home, but when I get there, I'm usually drained and don't feel like doing anything.

That's not to say I don't enjoy my life. My anticipation level just seems to have drained away over the years. I enjoy things once I start doing them, but I don't really look forward to anything very much.

And yeah, Jitspoe has a point about the food. I tend to survive on pasta and stir in pesto sauce every day, its just a hassle to cook that I can be bothered with.

The wife and 3 kids are already there so I have nothing better to do than start random post like this.... sorry Eiii. Just remember, life is too short. Enjoy the small things in life you normally wouldn't pay attention to. As far as jits and women are concerned.... there's plenty of buy-a-bride companies out there. If I can get a seat on this DP council my first act as a member would be to suggest a donation fund to help with the cost of his new bride.

I don't like drinking coffee before my brain starts working so I rarely have one at home or before getting to my desk. At the moment my next pick would probably be watching Seinfeld re-runs after supper.

Post by: nightryder on August 21, 2007, 12:01:24 AM: im always looking forward for a nice deep long uninterrupted sleep but i never get it...i used to like sitting in the cafeteria with 20 friends at school, but now i graduated...... i always looked forward to going to ball practise but we just lost out at nationals so ball is over...the only thing im looking forward to now is vacation, but i got nowhere to go. i should just pack up and drive for a month.

But this morning I had a bit of a problem....

One of my horses wa blocing my car so I couldn't get out of the drive, then when I finally did, my colt got in front and started blocking me again. They both wanted to play... Or just cause havoc :p

We treat our horses like our dogs: they really don't stay in their pastures.

They sleep on our covered porch, my colt thinks he's a german shepherd ( he loves to paly with my 2 white shepherds), when we drive up in the cars, they'll stick their heads in through the car windows if they're down, and if we are working outside, they get as close a possible to see what's going on.
