Sorry I missed it guys, looks like a good time. The funny thing is that I probably drove right by it. I was on my honeymoon though, and I had a slim chance of a LAN party break during the middle of the honeymoon. =) I will effort to make it there next year.

I think anywhere Jitspoe wants to host it is great. If he runs DP, and he is running DPCON, then it makes perfect sense to have it in the town he knows, with the location he knows, dealing with the people he knows. He is giving us 6 months notice, and power to select the date. If you want to come then great come. If its too far away, sorry, maybe we will see you next year. The location should not be up for debate, only the date.

Jit, I will actually be on my honeymoon for almost the entire month of July. I will be in Orlando, Charlston and then Myrtle Beach close to when it looks like DPCON will be scheduled for. Depending on the logistics, I will see if I can stop by.
