It looks like you used the snow texture for a lot of stuff.  I think I may have had that phong shaded by default, which will eat up light patches like crazy.  You wouldn't want that stuff phong shaded anyway.  Check the surfaces and see if there's a value set.  If so, it's trying to blend all the lighting together and you'll have to unset it.  You can quickly change this by using the select menu and selecting by texture, set the value to 0, and hit apply brush.

This map almost defines the reasons why the Halo series sucks, other than the people who play it...

Very nice...

I have been thinking of reproducing the Halo 2 maps, but haven't got time...life is so hectic I cannot sqeeze in time for DP

But...in the near future I may be able to help with Battle Creak...

Also, Lockout would  be fun to do (but hard) as well as Midship

Tinman, lockout is a great map. Just not for paintball. Halo and paintball are two very different games. The maps won't cross over.

Seriously, when will people realize that just because a map works on one game this doesnt mean it will work on another. I was working on a very, very, very detailed version of de_dust2 for dp. It looked great, looked like lots of fun, but then it came down to counter strike and dp are very different games. Dp, is all about speed and spraying. Cs is all about being tactical and accurate shots. The gameplay doesnt transfer over.

That was the nicest post possible.

Halo is fine when you're in a clan and only play matches with strict team-rules. Halo pub has to be the lamest thing ever.
