Explosions?

Is there any way I can make explosions in my map? Like a script? func_explosive doesn't work :-(

I think func_explosive was removed from the game.
Why do you want to have an explosion in a PB map anyway o.O

Maybe the police department blew up?

But ViciouZ, we ought to make a vote to get explosions returned, ever if it's just paint explosions that kill anyone.

Func_explosive was removed because it used quake 2 content. :P I don't think it has enough applications for it to be returned/redone, though.

Couldn't you use a bunch of triggers and func_push to make it seem like the bushes are exploding, just make the paths all over the place.

You can trigger the explosion effect with a tempent.  The explosion model itself was removed, though, so there are just some particles.

You can try this for an example, but there is nothing with paint, you just die.

The model looked really ugly anyway.  I think sprites work better for explosions.
