If theres any more problems with the port forwards, remember you might need to forward the ports in your windows firewall, or whichever firewall you use. I was stuck for the longest time until I figured out that one for my ftp stuff. Theres another place to forward them too in Windows, I'm too lazy to search right now, but thats only if the router forward by itself doesnt work.
That and my ISP (roadrunner) blocks ports, so I had to re route the ports I wanted to use for stuff, also.
( and I know it doesnt help this case, but if anyone else searches for port forwarding stuff)
