You want:

alias +att "hand 0 ; +attack"
alias -att "hand 2 ; -attack"

then bind your firing key to +att.

I'm pretty sure he wants the other way around.  I use this technique myself, makes sure the paintballs fly straight.
Code: [Select]
alias +att "hand 2; +attack"
alias -att "hand 0; -attack"
bind mouse1 +att

So what's the benefit of switching back and forth? Why not just use hand 2?

If you use hand 2, you can't see your gun.

Center view is the only way most players play. Anything else is not q2

The benefit of switching hands is you gain a little bit of angle while spraying or shooting through an opening, if done right. The width of the gun positions is enough to make a difference sometimes.  Here is my alias for it, it's in my config.cfg.

alias change0 "hand 1;bind x change1"
alias change1 "hand 3;bind x change2"
alias change2 "hand 2;bind x change0"

Of course you have to bind x to change0 or such before you can use it.  Being a sprayer/liner/camper/very *friendly* person I use it quite a bit.

haha "very friendly person" is not what I typed...
I'll let people guess what I said, that's funny.

Hmmm...

Let's just see what the censors are...
excrement
ass
intercourse
intercourser
merry <-- tee-hee.
cigarette <-- ROFL! Guess!
excretory opening <-- OOH! Needs censoring!

alias change0 "hand 1;bind x change1"
alias change1 "hand 3;bind x change2"
alias change2 "hand 2;bind x change0"

lol you just made an alis to 1 command and then binded it.

That alias is for switching hand positions, left, right, center.  I realize now that that's not what the question is but I don't see what's funny about it.

its the same as if you binded the key to the command! you just created an extra command that was the same as hand0/1/2

But you can press the button again and it will switch hands. It's a toggle.

Lol, nice censor. Now there'll be less excretory openings swearing.
