In your opinion what is the most needed new feature and why?

I started this discussion for 2 reasons:
1.  Some people don't understand some of the new features that are up for vote
2.  It will help people see why some people want these new features and to build up more votes on some of the new feature requests.

In my opinion, the most newed feature is the new map format because it will help the quality of maps increase and will give mapper even more freedom with what they can create.  I also believe the two things in my profile are needed but not as much as the new map format.
Post your feed back but don't flame others for what they believe is needed.
P.S.  I hope I chose the correct board to post this in.

Vwep, because it's been a long time coming and wouldn't be too much work if I understand correctly- y00tz's already done a couple guns. I'm going with new map format, but I don't think it'll improve map quality any. The mappers won't change.

That's true, I did prep the guns, which is the easy part of it.  The guns will be subject to tweaks etc.

But on a serious side:

A solid set of directions, in-game help, a training mode, and a good wiki.

All of these will draw more players to stay with the game.

Definitely a good wiki, I remember making a mental note to suggest or vote for that.

Training mode?  Is that considered the warm up mode or something totally different?

Negative.  Training mode (I presume) as in teaching basics, etc.

Ook.  I didn't see it in the feature vote page so I didn't know what it was.  That would be a good idea though and would combine 2 or 3 of the feature votes into one nice little add.  If this gets implemented, I think it should be required before someone can start playing online... but we are getting off topic

8 hours ago it was second, until I switched my votes tying them, immediately followed by "chocosaur" voting against "mouse over text boxes" .. followed by 4 people voting for hud indication... a 7 vote swing... so what happens, do you stop developing one, and immediately switch?

Guess it depends on how difficult the feature is and how much time I have.  In this case, I fixed the mouse-over thing when it was first, then implemented the flag indicators on the HUD.

Are you gonna switch those over to "in progress" or "implemented" status then?

They don't display by default if I do that.  I think votes get disabled as well.  I'll probably just wait until I make a release so people don't get confused or try to submit something that's already there.

Was you release the things that are top rated, you delete them from the feature vote system thing and then what?  You do the next things on the list?
