Sounds cool. Try the tutorials in FL Studio if you haven't already; they're pretty useful (if they're still there, that is).

yeah i just figured it out

edit: attached one of my mp3 files i made... yeah i know it's only 3 seconds and isn't that great but i think it sounds like and old perfect dark level soundtrack

I found a pretty awesome VST plugin called VoxengoBoogex. It allows for much more realistic sounding guitar amps. Here's the beginnings of something that uses a guitar I tried to make sound like the one in the opening of "Sweet Child 'o Mine":

Not bad for 100% synthetic, in my opinion.
