yeah jitspoe i need that tool again that you gave me to convert my wolf model for abbey, and i started this topic just so i can allways go here and never bug you again


and maybe a little tutorial would be nice ^^ if you have the time?

It's an open-source format, I believe.  There's a program called SKModeler 1.2, but pretty run an SMD (Half-life 2 format) through a batch file and wah-lah, SKM.

For 3DS to MD2, check out QME, it's the only one I've ever had success with.


Also, in the Filter Forge thread, you mention needing the new FF for normal maps, but why not just use Melody?

im planing on adding some tree models here soon to abbey. then redo the grounds and add in some grass patches, well actually anywhere a grass texture is.,there will be grass particals

yeah, I lost all that stuff when the old server got shut down.  Couldn't remember what the directory used to be, so I just called it tools.

Sorry about bring this thread back up but,
I tried to use qme but i cant get it to md2

I can load the 3ds models into it but it is completely black, and when i try to save as md2 it says "export not supported"

Any Help?

I haven't used it in a long time but I think you have to import the texture too.
