Looks like you put the high res textures in the normal folder. You have to put them in a subfolder called HR4.

Basically, save your configs, reinstall paintball, copy your configs over, and put the high res textures in paintball2\pball\textures\pball\hr4\, then type gl_highres_textures 1 in the console.

Also, reinstall the game so you don't get busted for modified content on your normal sized textures.  Just run the full install over your existing game.
