Ok, simple test.  If you have windows vista, run this, and copy/paste the output.

Obviously this isn't reproducing the state that caused the error in build 21. :-\  Did you both have the socket binding error when you tried to load a map?

I have had no errors loading maps in vista.  Only problem i get is my PPS drops to 30 every few seconds and it gives me horrible lag.

Ok, different test program.  Hopefully this one can reproduce the issue...

I don't get it, then.  I copied the code straight out of paintball2 and called it the same way.  Both build 21 and this should work, or neither should.  If you're just getting "Test complete," it means there were no errors.

I installed dp on my buddy's laptop which has vista. You get bad lag periodically. Sometimes it lags so much it causes an error resulting in dp to close.

Can you load a map on it? (without connecting to a server)
