I'm pretty sure that isn't even possible, given that he isn't intercepting data as it goes between you and the server.

There's a bug that sometimes makes a spectators name show up as if you were looking at them, my hunch is that this is what happened.

If you suddenly switch to observer or something, a player may suspect he is being watched.
