Land Of Love - New map

Beta.  Cap point is in the fenced area.

its a bit faster of a map.  There is alot of jump lines...find them yourself.

There isn't any ammo or anything in it...cause i just want your feedback and what to do with some things.

Not bad but really need to be filled up.
    Fix that texture
   Small Gap
   The floor is 1 pixel from grass
  You should use the same texture everywhere (on the side wall, the brown and white texture)


Also, you can get stuck behind the trees

Yes, not bad.
A little bit open and many misaligned textures, but looks good for a first beta :D

looks like it will be very fun to play. but once again to open. i think that you need to have some indicator to where the cap is for people that didn't read the forum. one last thing is that there should be color indicators to se which side that you are on. but i like the layout of the map.

those are all noted.  i only spent about 4-5 hours on the thing anyway so its a rough beta yeah.

i got a city-style dm in the works

desertstorm2 is working on being lit/final compile for beta.

me and clipz have desertstorm1 but theres and issue on it before we can release.

so yeah thats what i have coming around.

in this next beta i filled in that middle area.  and up top....i think maybe i'll go as far as beta 3.  i'll release beta 2 today...later in the afternoon.

Yeah dude, added some barrels and a few boxes...fixed a few of the minor issues...whoops forgot that fencing cap thing gotta figgure that one out.  noted and fixing for another beta...but heres what i got going.

High r speeds , over 3000 and i think you should still add more boxes and barrels.

kind of hard to lower the r speeds.....mainly being the size of the map and the way it looks.  but give me ideas on where to add them.  cause im blanking out here.

I see no barrels or boxes in high route :P. You might want to add but its up to u.

lol yeah of course....i just kinda liked how it is...but yeah i think i could find some spots for new boxes...but i figgured if i added that house thing up there that would make another hiding spot...

If you like the high route without barrels and boxes then dont add them cause if you dont want cuz ur the mapper :P

okay, done a few screens (not sure if it's all been said - probably) and named them as to whats wrong. Mostly texture misalignments, just to give you some specifics.

my 3rd beta will come out tonight...i've redone a bit of the high...made it harder to go about..but made a jump that makes it a bit more fun.

yeah fixed them...im actually trying to work on the lighting...everything went dark for some reason.  and there really isn't a reason for it either...i'm not getting the leaf error...im at 2000 some

That happend to me a while back. Use fewer light entities perhaps/reduce the value? Some mapping geek will give you the true answer

im not using ents or texture lights nowhere throughout the map....im using sunlight for the whole map.

i think its just to much surface area...which means...more filler is needed...i guess.
