KalTorak's Sound Pack
« on: December 24, 2005, 02:18:59 PM »
hey everyone...  i was bored and decided to put up my custom sound pack for everyone...

don't get all excited though it's nothing extreme.

i got tired of hearing carrot-top and south park wavs, i think it really takes away from the serious side of the game... but the ffire wavs are still funny as hell  ;)

i'm not knocking on the original wavs, i just got tired of them so i made some new ones.

in each folder i made the same wav for each action.  i replaced the death (not ffire, i like those in there *glee*), flag grab, flag cap, start/spawn wavs and player wavs.

can't you tell i'm bored?  ;D

Can't listen at the moment.  I'll check them out later.  Are these original or more clips from copyrighted material?  Eventually we'll have to get rid of all the copyrighted stuff.

Oh, I wasn't worried about that.  I was just saying that in the actual game that Digital Paint distributes, we need to get rid of all copyrighted material.

What did you use to make these sounds?

Ahh, it just so happens I have that, but I haven't had a chance to play around with it too much.  Any suggestions as to how I might make a sound like that flagpass "whoosh."  I don't really know the origin of that sound, and I want to make higher quality sounds anyway.  I haven't really figured out how to make short sound effects with it.
