I meant a NEW game like that. All new games seem to be future or WWII oriented.

i have never seen or heard of a WWI game. personally i would like to see that. another vietnam game would also be good. also i would like us canadians mentioned in war games. we were a fearsome force. we took vimy ridge when many others failed.

You aren't gonna ever see that because WWI was a complete mistake, and I'm pretty sure most people are gonna get bored of trench warfare after about five minutes, because thats basically all WWI was.

In my opinion it would be a fun game. probobly because I have read so many war stories about WWI and I have gotten bored of how many WWII games there are. the Medal of Honor series has been going on for longer than the second world war

Also got some nice new set pieces from the trip to belgium.

Infinity ward have already done 4 (if you count united offensive) WWII call of dutys... They should really broaden their scope a bit.

Let me wrap a WWI game up for you, you sit in a trench, officer says attack, you get slaughtered by MG fire + rifle fire. Respawn, officer yells attack, slaughtered ... repeat.

WWI woldn be worse than a civil war game. and yes there are civil war games. i will never play it because you would want to take only about 4 shots a minute it would be boring

They are supposed to be coming out with a civil war expansion pack for Age of Empires III.

Battlegrounds 2 is a war of independance mod for HL2, and it's very enjoyable. You take 7 seconds to reload, which is why what generally happens is that you run in, fire a shot, then bayonet americans/brits in the face until you get killed.
