What the hell is a viewkill?

I was on the er33t server and everyone on my team just dropped dead. It said that we all killed ourselves, but then someone said something about a viewkill. What is it?

ViewGib.. basicaly when the 5 year old ops want to intercourse with you they bind something to viewgib when your in thier sights.. and they hit the bind you die.
