First of all create a brush with the size of your wall.
After this, create a second brush with the size of the hole which you want to have. Use the "Subtract"-button somewhere in the middle of the tasklist. After you did this, just delete the "hole"-brush and you created a beautiful hole in your wall.

Or you could make each brush around the opening. One above, one for each side and one below if needed.  I prefer making the openings this way so I can control the breaks. It works better if you have more than one opening.

Using the subtract is bad practice, as it yields uncontrolled and often undesired results.  Generally I use the clipping planes for this.  Create your wall.  Say you have something like this:
Code: [Select]
 _________

_________
Now, with it selected, shift+right click twice to set 2 points where you want the top of the window to be.  Then select the "split" button.  You'll end up with something like this:
Code: [Select]
 _________
_________

_________
Now select the bottom part if it's not selected, and shift+right click twice more where you want the bottom edge of the window to be and split again:
Code: [Select]
 _________
_________
_________
_________
Now select just the middle section, and shift+right click where you want the left edge of the window to be and split:
Code: [Select]
 _________
_________
|___|_____|
_________

Finally, with just the right side of the middle selection selected, shift+right click to create the right edge of the window.  Make sure the window part of the brush is the one that's going to be removed (use the flip button if it's going to remove the wrong side), and use the carve button to remove the window section.
Code: [Select]
 _________
_________
|___|_|___|
_________

As I'm not an expert at that whole mapmapping stuff, I'm doing things on the simple way.  ;D

You can change the size of your "blocks" to create "walls".

The "blocks" are actually called "brushes."  Don't ask me why.  That's just what they're called.  You can select them with shift+click (or just click on them in the 3D view).  Hit ESC to deselect all of them.  While a brush is selected, you can click and drag near a side of it to stretch or shrink it.  Also, on the 2D grid views, there are a couple numbers in the upper left.  Click on these to set the grid size and zoom.

I wouldn't buy it unless the flags work. ;D

Or... If you were any good at mapping, your map wouldn't have doors but merely one big room, with see through walls.

Release your map first, then we can talk about the price.

Wow, that sounds like one hell of an original map there. Is it even lit?
