Well SKEET...
I'm pretty competitive. How can I know the extent of my efforts to succeed when the opponent cheats.
Sure it's just some kids and a stupid game. But you can bet the mentality that drives a person to cheat bleeds over into real life. Pathetic cheaters in the game....pathetic people outside of the game...period.

I've been around long enough to know ALL the reasons why people cheat. And none of them are fair to the people that actually strive to progress with determination and practice.

I think Cusoman should have WELL over a 32 day ban for creation, distribution, and using hax.

It's an insult to the honest players of this community to give ANY cheaters ANY break what so ever.

You want a grace period? Go hack on another game and let them give you a grace period.

in all honesty, if the whole community gets a grace period whats going to make them stop in general.
Its like someone getting caught stealing. If you just let them go its like telling them its ok to steal.
Hackers are n00bs skitzo stop aimbotting because i know you are and i would love that to stop please because it makes me said.
lets all go play combat arms and level up and glitch together as one big family.

I agree fully with S8N on that post. Someone brought up that banning cheaters will hurt the community, but really...do we want cheaters?

I really liked Cusoman. I did a lot of work with him on PP3 etc. Although...to know he made hacks AND used hacks yet he gets a 32 day ban is pathetic.

We don't put up with cheaters in DP, and never had. Cheaters dont deserve a get out of jail free card.

The reason I probably care the MOST is because I have been accused constantly over the past year yet no one has reported me or made a formal complaint. To play against people that ARE hacking that are calling ME a hacker then to see them not get any punishment is a pathetic moment for this game and our morals.

EDIT: We are finally concuring Knack :) Look at other games...if punkbuster catches you I would not expect it to message you saying 'if you cheat again you'll get banned'.

Yes i know how you feel s8nsson but your not looking at the reason why we are doing the grace period. It is in the best interest of the survival of the game as a whole and not just to personally please you. I rarely see you play but if you would like to play a clean player that has never hacked then i would love to play against you sometime.

I don't think hackers are integral to the survival of this game as a whole.

If the survival of the game depends on giving hackers grace periods, then let the game die.

I would rather have 10 honest players than 10 honest players and 40 hackers.

I quit playing because of all the hax...(not really but it sounds good and supports my argument nicely)

Well bix the idea that i have been pressing is that it is not about morales or about wether hacking is wrong or right. it is about the survival of DP. This issue has little to do about cuso. making statements against him on this thread will not solve anything.

High five making another account to post that. $5 says IloveSkeet is probably cheating.

Lets clear up some of the worthless posts in this thread. There was a good amount of construction now it is cluttered with excrement.

How does not wanting cheaters make me a baby?

EDIT: Cuso is completely relevant because he started this whole issue and let DP see that is truly cheat detection. He is also relevant because he not only cheated using the 'undetectable' cheat but he also MADE a cheat.

So tell me s8nson you didn't quit because of the new generation of hackers. no you quit because of the hacking from like the old Ij and the old uR right?

I don't really think that is the point Skeet.

I believe what he is trying to say is --> If we are going to give cheaters free 2nd chances and if cheaters are vital to the survival of this game...let the game die.

Back On Topic:  I Beleive it has its pros and cons.

Pros: It will liven up the game a bit, and maybe bring new players
Cons: Hackers will come back, most likely hack again.
