Four men were in a boat on the lake. The boat turns over, and all four men sink to the bottom of the lake, yet not a single man got wet! Why?

This is just stupid, but try to figure it out ;)

Got a couple to bump:

What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?

I reach for the sky, but clutch to the ground; sometimes I leave, but I am always around. What am I?

What belongs to you but others use it more than you do?

You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What is it?

You die and go to a completely white room. This room is white, and in it there are 2 doors (one door leads to heaven, one leads to hell.) In the center of the room there are identical twins. They look, act, and speak exactly the same. The only difference is, one always lies, the other always speaks the truth.

Rule:
You only have one question that you may ask, after you ask that question you must walk through one of the two doors.

Here is the riddle:
What is the one question you ask to find out which door is which?

The last one the question is "Would your twin say you are the liar?"

If you ask the liar (twin#1) this, then he will reply "no", because he would know his brother would tell the truth and say yes, and twin#1 must lie.

If you as the Honest twin (twin#2), the he would reply "yes", because he knows his brother will lie and say that he, the honest twin, is a liar. You would then know that Twin#2 is the honest twin.

Now after i have spent 5 or so minutes thinking this over and writing it, i realize this doesn't help you pick the right door. But now atleast you know which one is lying to you while you sit in this room for eternity.

i got a riddle :D........ whats always coming but never gets here?

Tomorrow...

You die and go to a completely white room. This room is white, and in it there are 2 doors (one door leads to heaven, one leads to hell.) In the center of the room there are identical twins. They look, act, and speak exactly the same. The only difference is, one always lies, the other always speaks the truth.

Rule:

Here is the riddle:
What is the one question you ask to find out which door is which?

My dad asked me this riddle a few weeks ago. After thinking through the answer for a while, I can finally give reasoning to it.

The answer/question to ask: "If I asked the other twin which door led to heaven, what would he say?"

Reasoning:

I put brackets in to make it easier to some.

If you asked the twin that lied, he would lie about (the truthful twin saying which door led to heaven), which means he would be lying about which door is the one to heaven. Take the other door.

If you asked the twin that told the truth, he would tell the truth about (the lying twin saying which door led to heaven). Which means that he'd lie which door was heaven, but telling the truth about which door the twin would say wasn't heaven. Take the other door.

You can only ask one question. And they will both answer it.

I did make the answer only one question. I just didn't read the part about 'both will answer it'. So I'll just change the wording then...

Change "If" to "When".
