Is there any chance that you can make it so that other programs/scripts can connect to the server browser? iTunes for examples saves all your song titles/names and all that junk in an XML file. Could you make it so that when you refresh/update the list it saves it to an xml file?

tom, you can make your own script that interfaces with qstat to parse and create an XML file of the current servers and their players/pings/map/etc....

Is it possible to implement some sort of search engine?  For instance, suppose you need to find a player for some reason, you just search their name and serverbrowser highlights the server that they're in or something.

Once the global stats/login stuff is up you'd be able to see who's on what server via website I'm thinking, sorta like a Qstat page.

Update:

Fixed some bugs with it keeping the list sorted while updating the server list (sometimes the server info was going to the wrong server in the list).

Update:

When you click on a server, it refreshes the data so you don't have to refresh the whole list.

Do you plan to add rcon as an option?

I'm trying to keep it as slim and simple as possible, but I might.

The servers don't currently report that information, so no.

Do you think you would put a rcon_pass option in it for servers?

I'll probably do that at some point.  Throw that suggestion in the 2007 feature request thread.
