A helpful thread(for those new to game)
« on: February 20, 2006, 02:39:39 AM »
I just thought that this would be a nice non flamefest thread, to help those people new to the game.

Ill start off like this, you ever see those people jumping really fast? Well don't call hack. If you wanna learn how to do this:

1. Use a strafe jump( forward+left/right.

2. Tilt your mouse alittle bit i find that to help.

Another thing is a double jump, you can do this by

1. Hitting your jump button really fast TWO times.

2. Also make sure u have some momentum getting there.

If you see people throw granades and they explode on impact, it's not a hack its a bind. You can set up ypur own like this.

1. Go to conslole ( ~ )

2. Type bind <whatever key you'd like> tossgren impact.

My final peice of advice to you newcomers is the "superjump"

1. like I talked about in first subject, use the strafe jump.

2. Then hit a ramp full speed, you will go far if you do these right.

And if you are getting "owned" don't call hacker. It could be either or all of thses things.

1. A camper.

2. A sprayer (Non-stop line of paintballs)

2. Or a person who is just very skilled at this game.

this isn't an insult, but i laughed hard imagining a new player tilting his mouse on its side trying to strafe jump.

I'm kinda dissapointed. I created thread to help new people, and I'm getting bashed!!

I Don't get why you are bashing me for helping, because all I'm trying to do is HELP.

Yes Smokey you are right, I'm new. Yet, still I don't suck at this game. I know what i am talking about. Maybe you should be more mature and help some people yourself.

Try being a polite adult, or (if your'e younger) a matured adolescence.

I'm almost completely sure that it's the filters. Stupid filters.

EDIT: HHAHA! It just gets rid of intercourse + ing.
POST-EDIT: But it keeps intercourse + in? Weird.
EDIT AGAIN: No dams with an n? Shame.
