Shockwave demo request!
« on: July 26, 2009, 01:19:23 AM »
This is a formal request for shockwave's demo from July 26th in Ij match 1 on pp1.  Time was around 12 am to 1 am.  He refused to give it up after the match when we asked.

heh, I wish we could make a formal request of the demos folder :).  It's funny how people don't realise if they refuse it just makes things more suspicious.

The reason shockwave didn't give his demo would be because everyone else always says: Post on forums for it. So I assume he's just wanted you guys to post on forums about it, then when he see's it he'll post his demo. Just message him the link to this thread when he gets on so he knows about it.

Yea requesting a demo from someone who has been banned multiple times is just stupid.  I mean who hacks again?  O wait, TONS OF PEOPLE!

Its just the new thing.  Everyone has to get someone to make a thread about them to be cool before they give their demos up.  We need a rule on refusing to give demos up....

I thought there was one.  Give up your demo on a formal forum request or be banned.

Shockwave... just give it up.. if you don't have anything to hide.. i don't see whats the big deal. if you don't give it up and more people ask, then jitspoes gonna get the demo whether you like it or not. seeing how he has the power to do so. stop wasting everyones time shock.. give it up.

Just finished watching the demo to find nothing. But that happened to be the case when Reaver thought Iced and Allday hacked. Since it looks different ingame then seeing the demo from their perspective.

So Br55HiT, if you somehow think different please post the times, but I personnally found nothing out of the ordinary. Line low, go up gap or hibd and line flag/mid, etc..

Could someone watch this demo with walls on please, since that is a better view?  It always looks normal if they are trying to not make it obvious.  It just makes it look like recon or luck.  Like around 10:30-40 ish he goes backwards off our cat to his cat and is looking at the wall lining and when he comes around the corner our guy is right in his shots.  That's either complete luck or hacks.  No amount of recon in the world could have told him EXACTLY where our guy was.  Especially with vent lag since there was no text recon.  Or at about 3:03 he is our low ice starring lining the bottom of high bd.  That line is pointless because who would possibly run into that?  But he was obviously shooting at something.  Also you would notice how he always goes low by bunker and lines across.  But about two times he stops at his trips and lines the ice by the high bd jump.  You can't see anyone on the screen.  So how does he know not to jump out and sit and line ice?  He also lines ice for VERY long periods of time.  Most people would just give up after a while and move on.  But he keeps his line there until he knows no one is coming.  So he's either bad and just sits to line, or knows there's still someone there.  You should also notice how he shoots walls almost as much as he hits people.  He might just be +attacking for no reason, or he is trying to hit them through a wall.  Hard to tell unless you view it with walls on.

I will not accept any demo thoughts from his teammates or friends since that's biased and useless.  I will not accept all demo thoughts or opinions from some of my teammates or friends either unless they are valid and I can see them too.

I mostly just want Jitspoe to check him out with his stuff to see for sure.
