Author Topic: Super's server-ping jump anyone? (Read 9313 times)

For the last two or three months now the ping to Superman's server has been far higher than it was before. I used to get around 70 some ping and now have around 100-150.

Did anyone else experience this? Any ideas why?

Other servers seem unaffected.

Also, is the server still with extremecybergames? And if so are there any other servers with them currently so I can see if they are similarly changed?

My ping has jumped from ~180 to ~200.

My ping went from about yeh, 280 to about 250. Maybe he moved it closer to us. SHERMAN WE ARE <3'd

Quit complaining, and come visit us, our ping got lowered

I never had a ping spike... Or at least I don't look at my ping. I have been a bit more laggier lately in maps that I have never lagged in before, but that has happened in many other servers at around the same time that I started getting lag in superman's server.

Nevermind my change, it's been like that for 3 days and in every server, I'll fix it tomorrow.
My ping is normal again but I keep lagging.

At one point my ping went from 80 - 90 to 210 on supermans server. It was the only server my ping was bad in.

Well over the last three months it has consistently been bad for me Super. I would check with their support and ask why, directing them to this thread so they can see it is not an isolated incident.

I always enjoyed your server before, but I won't play it with that ping. I dusted off UT instead since there is a nice server near by.

Do you know if any other servers are being hosted by them anymore? If so post them so we can compare and see if it is your server or a trend.

I can't believe you won't play on it because it has a ping above 100. Thats not something to be complaining about. You should be complaining about something above 250-300ish, not 100.

Try playing on Super's server in China. Then you'll realize a ping of 100-200 works like a dream.
