Hi there all

There has been no tournaments recently? Is this due to the ESL? Anyway, in about a week or two, we are going to host a massive 1 server DM cup where anyone can drop in and out of the server.

The idea of the Tournament is for you to get the most kills accumulated in all of the played maps.

TOURNAMENT STARTS NEXT SUNDAY AT 15:00 BST

The servers:
[iSi] DM Tourney
(Specs: 24 slots, hosted in UK giving USA a ping of about 110-130 and Europeans a ping of about 40-60 (I get 17 XDD))

The rules:
Connect to the server, start playing and try to get the most kills. You can use grenades, and anything you may find. Please dont be nasty during the match. You must not change names during the tournament. Changing names will result in disqualification.

How to participate:
The ways of participation are the following ways which will be explained more further down:-

- A:- Contact me whenever on the tournament day on IRC (#insignia)
- B:- PM Me on the DP Forums (Here)
- C:- Reply to this topic with the name you will be using for the tournament.

A: Contact me in IRC saying to me your name you will be using for the tournament.
B: Same as above, except on DPForums.
C: Just give me your details and the name you will be using for the tournament.

Examples of scoring:

The starting date will be posted later.

For the names I will probably use check my Dplogin ID.

idias, 24 slots is fine. but it may go upto 25 slots so i can observe

ALSO: To get your kills/deaths totalled up, you must try and stay for the full map. Otherwise, we wont be able to get your score

dropzone = annoying
arm = too small
dome = perhaps, good choice

conquest

you can use some ctf maps, which have DM settings and perhaps DM spawns as well. Not that i know of any.

I searched some on the DP Resource Map database, found some ones that could be used but thought we'd use some DM maps first
