I'll throw in some servers if the americans get their own group or half of a bigger bracket.

Is there enough interest to run a bigger 1v1 tournament? Either one map all tournament, or 3/5 maps with elimination like this one.

I think there's definitely enough interest, based on the fact that this one filled up within two days.

Yeah, I asked Bain whether or not he wants to do his original idea of a European, and American bracket. If there is, we will probably have guntemp off.

Here were some suggestions PMed to me on IRC, so I'm just relaying those:
<suggestions>
- Remove theice from the maplist
- Possibly remove xbmap1, too, due to FPS issues for many players
- No flags so the points only come from frags
</suggestions>

I also want to point out that there will be US servers, one way or another.

I think it would be great to do two brackets, so hopefully we can iron out the details quickly and let everyone know what's going on.

Hmm, sure. But this may become Europe and USA separately, so that means Europeans will have the non-laggy version for them, and vice-versa for the Americans.

Read as: If we can't bribe XtremeBain to his satisfaction, then GG will probably have to dig up some American servers, which will result in numerous complaints because we're going to get a server config wrong or someone will have a bad ping.

Clearly, the only good course of action is a bribe.

Don't remove xbmap1.

But other maps could be like blitz, barrels, indune, shazamr or shazam.
