Its hard to say they were destroyed in a one goal overtime game :/

But yea Canada lost. They didn't have a very good team that didn't have a very good tournament. States looked great. Quick, skilled, smart and they looked like they just wanted it more. Better team won yesterday.

And the overrated Pietrangelo decides to pinch against the fastest team and give a nice low shot which gives a huge rebound and isn't fast enough to get back. Not to mention Canada had no goaltending. Just decided to point out again he's overrated. He's not bad, but he's just got no speed at all, he really needs to work on that or never pinch again in his career.

But I agree, the states looked great and deserved that game, aswell as they deserved the game on New years eve. I was hoping the OT would of turned out more nailbiting after that comeback.

The game shouldn't of even been tied in regulation.  That goalie interference call was bullexcrement.  But i will admit that Eberle has a knack for finding the net. He'll be around a while.

USA was the best throughout the tourny and was much better in the final too than Canada. Would have ended in regulation without Eberle, who really deserved the best forward prize. Campbell also deserves credit for managing well in a tough spot.

imo allen intercoursed the whole thing up making a play like m.a fluery did 6 years ago when the states beat us last..

he was hit bro. even though it wasn't a hard hit it was still enough to change his direction directly into the goalie. I hate the fact that goalie interference is judgment call where the ref can or cannot call it even if they were pushed. I wish they would make that rule somewhat more concrete, maybe be saying if the goalie is hit by a player on the feet or something... idk. As a player I would be pissed at that call though.
