It wasn't in a sence of making fun, I just lost every bit of sympathy I once (long time ago) had for their football, especially after this whole Ihateyou Youhateme excrement and especially after Henry's hand against Ireland. He was one of my fav players, after that 0 respect. IMO football is a sport with minimum sportmanship.

Algeria raged em yday, expected to see their play to fall down after 70 min, but they overruned England in every segment, it was fun to watch.

ino, i think the technical term is: Algeria owned us. Netherlands do look pretty good, but im surprised by most of the underdogs of the tourney like Uruguay , Serbia and Slovenia, who are all doing reli well, maybe a suprise winner.

Serbia has a really strong team. I don't know why everybody called them "underdogs", they forced France to play in the extra qualifications!

Seeing all the favorites fail at their fieldplay (even if they win, they play horrible, see the Netherlands), I really think there might be a surprise winner. Furthermore I think the chances for Argentina are really increasing, from all "classical favorites" they played the best so far.

True, Netherlands dissapointed me a bit today, was expecting much more.

Most Euro teams loose when they are contraplayed with pressing on mid.  Still, tourney still have alot of days to come, France is hopefully out, England aswell (this is for Lekky ). First rounds don't mean excrement, elim rounds is where experience of playing lots of tourneys kicks in. That's why altough Argentina is one of my all time favourites I don't see them winning because they will loose due to their coach who proved he has 0 tactical knowledge. And you can't win WC only by playing with heart. Spain is still IMO no1 favourites. Regardless the loss against Neutrals, they dominated the field, ball sometimes just doesn't wanna go in.
