Which admin was that? We previously had an admin (WORR GAME PRODUCT) which was a terrible admin abuser of which I quickly disposed of. Spiegel was also accused of abuse, but is still in arbitration. If you have any definitive details (name of admin, sshots, etc), I would be happy to see them.

Yes, Germany and Araknid (I believe) accused him of admin abuse. His op has been temporarily disabled and he is still in arbitration at the moment.

Your site needs alot of work Rock, its plain and ugly and disastrous.
Nobody cares what you think, and get out of my topic if you're just going to flame. ::)
Good job at starting a thread about your site and then blowing off that someone recommends that you make it look nicer. I too agree that you could easily make it look better, just simplify it, it seems very cluttered and could be made into a nice looking maplist instead.

I'm still brought here in Charon  :'(
And you could make this nicer using tables maybe? Just a thought.

You will always see forbidden if you try to connect directly to the site, IE, going to the actual IP instead of http://devoted.to/rock
If Charon automatically skips through the forwarding of devoted.to/rock, then basically you're screwed.

Yes, I will be making the search engine nicer (similar to the map index with page limits so it works faster), but I still haven't fixed it yet.

Sorry for the wait! After some much needed defragging and other miscellaneous cleaning, the servers are back up and running.

Hey y'all! It's map-pack uploading time again, but this time I have a question for you:

Right now we have 3 map packs:
All, Jump, and Normal.
(All contains Jump, Normal, and other maps (such as soccer))

It takes more of a toll (about 2 extra days of upload time, to be exact) to try and upload All when the only unique content it has is the few maps in Other. Would it bother you to have 3 packs instead, Jump, Normal, and Other? It would take 3 clicks to download all maps instead of one, but it would save 600 meg of space and days of upload time to have it this way. Should I change it or not?

I'll give my opinion if you unban me and drop the "once a hacker, always a hacker" garbage, when the whole community knows I didn't.

1. Unban you? I already did. A long time ago.
2. I'll probably reban you if you keep acting like a craphead.
3. Actually, the majority of the community (if not all) believes you did. Go figure.

Your "Rock Web Server" takes a long time to load pages, and the dpball server is even worse   :-\

The admin is even worse. With his little "GIBB TIME" bind then he viewgibs like everyone.

Nope, I'm not denying my jump server is laggy, because it is, and I never said it wasn't. 'Nuff said.

TinMan,
Thanks for the heads up, I've changed some things and tried to economize on the RWS load time.

SkAtEr,
The gibspray is only used on a map change or when it is requested because of blockers.
