It makes public servers worse than when they had maplists. At least newbies had to play like 8-15 different maps instead of 3. When we had maplists, we had one person we could complain to who was responsible for the maplists. Now we're overcome by hordes of blind, seething newbies.

Maybe the length of time you've had a dplogin could be given some weight in the voting process

The problem is also the fact that newbies must know the .bsp name to make a vote. Figuring out grave.bsp or shazam33.bsp or siegecastle.bsp is pretty easy because those are also the map titles themselves.

The vote thing doesnt work also, me and 2 more were on some pub, we all 3 voted for pbcup_pforest and siegecastle appeared.

The votes build up throughout the whole pub, so if 3 people voted on a map with no votes, it will have three, a different map with more votes will go on, but if you all 3 vote again after that next map, it'll go up to six, and so on and so on, until it's the highest number.

Agreed. It just makes camping so easy, and also the game more unrealistic. Was talking to Rick about this the other night, if servers had guntemp enabled, it could remove the complaints such as 'liner',

Unfortunately I think it's too late too change the league rules to have guntemp on, but I think it would definitely be a good idea for the future.

U should have 12 or 13, but if u kill someone, the guntemp is empty. So 1 kill with 12 shots shouldn't be too hard.

I don't mind guntemp, but it runs into problem when it's NA vs EU, and makes it alot harder for high ping'd players. But in order for guntemp to be good in dp, interpolated hitboxes need to happen.
