Updated first post, made another thread with a map poll alone (http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=22643). Hope there is at least one map that satisfies each of you.

As for rules:
Be it either ladder or group system, first round we select 5 maps out of 10 voted in. Based on seedings, team standing lower selects their map (from 5 we select for first round) first, then play it. Then opponents select their map and play it. Tie, if needed, is a map left after elimination of unplayed maps (make it so team standing higher eliminates last).
Example 1: Team A is standing lower than Team B. They choose map #3 and win it. Then Team B choose map #2 and win it. Tie map is needed, so Team A eliminates map #1. Team B eliminates map #5. Map #4 is the tie map they play.
Example 2: Team C is standing lower than Team D. They choose map #1 and win it. Then Team D also choose map #1 and win it. Tie map is needed, so Team D eliminates map #2. Team C eliminates map #3. Team D eliminates map #4. Map #5 is the tie map they play. (as you see, if same map is played by both teams, higher seeding team has to eliminate first)

The same rules apply to semifinals, only change is, there will be the other 5 maps in the mappoll.
Final -> for mappoll, we randomize 7 maps from 10 and the same rules apply.

As for setting seedings: propose 2 maps you want to play in DM mode (probably only 1 player from each team per map, and we will run 2 DMs at the same time).

Hope I made it clear.

According to your votes (http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=22643.0), the maplist is as follows:

back2back
darkages
duck
indune
moonlit2r1
nml
oth
pbcup
pbcup_2fort5
rome

DM maps:
arm
dome

We will be using ic3y's servers (thanks again).

See you on Sunday, meet me before 15:45CET @ #team_qehs or #gamabunta (or simply pm me) and tell me your squad. We will then move to cup dedicated channel.

Time to sum it up.
With bigger or less problems, we managed to get 6 teams who understood the rules. I think I can leave "<creat|xico> ok our map daylight" without a word of commenting.
After DM, standings were as follows:
1. Free[z]ed
2. aZn
3. [kuc]
4. NAC
5. [q]
6. CzS

We then did 3 matches, 1. vs 6., 2. vs 5. and 3. vs 4.

Free[z]ed lost indune, but won duck and oth (timemap). [q] took it lightly, won pbcup and indune without sweating, with accusations regarding changed variables on server and wallhacks/aimbots; It's a pity new teams can't understand that someone may be better. [kuc] won pbcup_2fort5 and oth.
With 3 teams left, we did 3 matches that determined final standings. Free[z]ed consecutively won twice 2-1 (lost moonlit2r1, won rome and nml vs [kuc], lost nml after a hard fight, especially in last 2 minutes, won moonlit2r1 and back2back vs [q]), going for 1st place; [q] won once, raping nml and securing 2nd place on final minute of back2back, leaving [kuc] with 3rd place.

Final standings:
1. Free[z]ed
2. [q]
3. [kuc]

Thanks for playing, imho you had most fun during DMs. We need to thank ic3y for servers, without them we'd have nowhere to play on. Hope you enjoyed it, and as usual, stay tuned for new cups. This time it'll be something totally new and different.

I like the fact how none of your cup is the same as a previous one. Looking forward to the next one.
