I used to be an nVidia fan before I got a new system with integrated ATi Radeon. 6x anti-aliasing is awesome! Whitch do you prefer?

What a heated debate, I like ATI's mascot, CATALYST as opposed to the nVidia fairy...

Oh man I hate the catalyst control center.  Worst thing about ATI, honestly.

Its kind of clunky, i wish they would integrate the settings into a page in the desk.cpl like everyone else

Haha, yeah, the thing takes like 5 minutes to come up.  I go to change my options and I'll be sitting there wondering if I loaded it or not.  Really annoying if you want to change something quickly and get back into a game.  Plus it has that godawful skin that almost takes up more space than the controls themselves.

As for mascots,  nalu > catalyst. :)

I'll have to try that one out, that color would go wonderful with my Dr. Frank N Furter outfit.

i got a radeon 9800 pro, and i'm not very pleased with it. I got many problems with "the recovery service. Means: I started my pc, and suddenly without a "high grafic exe" my pc shuts down with a error: the recovery service had locked your card, or something like that.. I had to use Omega drivers, and even then, i had to use a strange configure, until it works good...
Now, i'd buy a nVidia.

Yeah, ATI cards crash so much they had to build a special "recovery" mode into the drivers so they wouldn't crash your whole PC.  It only works some of the time.

LoL SkateR! My laptop has a ATI Radeon 9100 Series and it ran better than my old, old Nvidia Geforce 4 mx 400, so i did the cheap thing, Paid 20$ for a Nvidia mx 4000 OC'd 128mb AGP 8x, hehe and i still get 1000fps when i look at a wall :D!,

TinMan, yeah the 7900gt looked okay.. but i heard they have ALOT of bugs in them.. Id just go with the Quad SLI and 4 7950's :D. that would be amazing!

Actually so far there are no bugs with my nVidia GeForce 7900GT, I've been overclocking it once in a while for Quake 4 using the program "nvclock", and I just used the nvidia-glx drivers in Ubuntu's repositories and they worked fine. I had to bust into my xorg.conf to enable higher resolutions though, but I'm running 1280x1024 fine now after doing that.
